JEFFREY A. SHANKMAN
Chief Operating Officer
Enron Global Markets

Jeff Shankman is chief operating officer of Enron Global Markets and focuses on risk management and trading. In this role, Mr. Shankman is developing the crude and products, LNG, weather, insurance, Equity/FX/Rates, coal and emissions, and transportation markets for Enron. Mr. Shankman recently moved into this role in August 2000, having been instrumental in developing Enron's natural gas team into the most successful trading and risk management business of its kind in the world. In addition, he was responsible for leading the middle market team to double its productivity. Mr. Shankman is also a member of Enron's Executive Committee.

Prior to joining Enron, Mr. Shankman worked at Bankers Trust - NY in the global markets sales and trading group; and at Cooper Neff, a proprietary options trading firm, in New York. Mr. Shankman received a bachelor's degree in 1989 from the University of Pennsylvania - Wharton School.
