MARK E. KOENIG
Executive Vice President, Investor Relations

Mark E. Koenig is executive vice president of Investor Relations of Enron Corp. Mr. Koenig is responsible for all activities related to Enron's investor constituencies and is a member of the Enron Executive Committee.

Mr. Koenig joined Enron in 1985 as director of Enron's pension and profit sharing investments. He served as assistant treasurer from 1990 to 1992, responsible for Enron's corporate treasury activities. Mr. Koenig was promoted to vice president Investor Relations in December 1992, senior vice president in 1997, and executive vice president in 1999.

From 1978 until he joined Enron, Mr. Koenig served in various finance positions with Peter Kiewit Sons' Inc., a privately owned construction and mining company in Omaha, Neb.

Mr. Koenig is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and earned his bachelor's degree in finance and MBA degree from the University of Nebraska. Mark is actively involved with the Sunshine Kids, an organization dedicated to children with cancer.
