J. MARK METTS
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development
Enron

Mark Metts is executive vice president of corporate development for Enron. In this role, Mr. Mett's is responsible for key corporate transactions throughout Enron, particularly strategic mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Metts also serves on Enron's Executive Committee.

Prior to joining Enron in August of 1999, Mr. Metts was a partner at the law firm of Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. His principal areas of practice were mergers and acquisitions law, corporate financing law and securities offerings law.

Mr. Metts received a bachelor's degree in English (Plan ll) from The University of Texas in 1980 and juris doctorate degree from University of Texas, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1983.
