MICHAEL BROWN

Michael Brown is chief operating officer of Enron Europe. Mr. Brown is based at the company's European headquarters in London and is responsible for the management of Enron's activities across Europe, Japan and Australia. He also serves on Enron's Executive Committee.
Mr. Brown received a first class law degree from Leeds University. He then joined Slaughter and May, a leading UK corporate law firm, in 1983 and qualified as a solicitor in 1985.
Mr. Brown joined Enron Europe in 1995 as senior legal counsel and became general counsel of Enron Europe in 1999 and chief operating officer in September 2000.
