Enron believes in supporting our employees. Whether we are providing employees and their families with exciting company-wide volunteer projects or giving financial support in the form of Matching Gifts and VIP grants, Enron is taking an active role in the communities where we live and work. The Enron Envolved Community Development program consists of three parts: Volunteer Activities, Matching Gifts, the Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP), and Discretionary Grants.
Enron Envolved Volunteer Program
While monetary and in-kind gifts are important, hands-on volunteers are the lifeblood of community agencies. Over the years, employee volunteers have provided helping hands, intellectual capital and skilled labor to non-profit agencies.
Enron is committed to supporting our employee-driven volunteer initiatives. Through our volunteer program, employees work in many different ways
to serve our communities. Enron works closely with community leaders to implement opportunities for employees to apply their talents, energy and enthusiasm.
If your community organization is interested in working with Enron, please e-mail us at community-relations@enron.com or send a letter to Enron Community Relations, 1400 Smith St., Suite 4337, Houston, TX 77002.
Volunteer Incentive Program
Enron employees around the world who volunteer personal time
have made a positive impact on the lives of people in the
communities where they live and work. The Volunteer Incentive
Program (VIP) rewards employees and qualified organizations
with grants of up to $500 based on an employee's volunteer
service.
