HOUSTON -- Enron Operations Corp. (EOC) recently announced that Lawrence “Larry” Izzo has been named president of Enron Engineering and Construction Company (EE&C).

Prior to joining Enron in 1990, Izzo spent 23 years in the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers, in a variety of leadership positions managing engineering and construction around the world.

Izzo will succeed Lincoln Jones, III who has accepted a vice chairman position with Enron Europe, Ltd. in London, England.

EE&C is responsible for building international pipeline and power projects and providing construction services to EOC’s domestic pipelines.

Izzo holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the U.S. Military Academy, a master’s degree in nuclear engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a business administration degree from Long Island University.
